These Terms govern use of UPSC Geeks at www.upscgeeks.in, its account and learning features, and blog.upscgeeks.in. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
1. Independent educational service
UPSC Geeks is an independent educational platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially connected with the Union Public Service Commission, the Government of India or any government authority. Verify official notifications, dates, eligibility, rules and results with the relevant official source.
2. Eligibility and accounts
The account service is intended for users aged 18 and above. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
Usernames, public profiles, reviews, contest performance and leaderboard activity may be visible to others. Do not choose a public name or submit content you do not want displayed. More detail appears in the Privacy Policy.
3. Permitted use
You may use the service for personal, non-commercial study and other uses expressly enabled by the product. You must not:
- break the law or infringe another person's rights;
- submit unlawful, deceptive, abusive, defamatory or harmful material;
- attempt to access another account, private data or restricted administration functions;
- bypass rate limits, security controls or access restrictions;
- scrape, harvest or systematically reproduce the service except with written permission or as allowed by law;
- use automated access in a way that degrades the service or creates unreasonable load; or
- probe, reverse-engineer or misuse APIs, AI features or infrastructure.
4. AI answer evaluation and generated output
AI practice scores, feedback, model answers, summaries and flashcards are educational aids. They are not official UPSC marks, are not produced by UPSC examiners and cannot predict examination marks, selection or rank. AI can make factual, reasoning and consistency errors. Verify important facts and current-affairs claims with reliable primary sources before relying on them.
5. Your submissions
You retain rights you have in answers, messages, reviews, notes and resources you submit. You give UPSC Geeks a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, process and display that material only as needed to operate, secure and improve the features you request. This includes sending relevant input to an AI provider and displaying material you submit to a public feature. You must have the right to submit the material and must not include another person's confidential or sensitive information without authority.
6. UPSC Geeks material and intellectual property
The software, brand, original explanations, design and other original material are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. A personal study copy does not give permission to republish, sell or build a competing dataset from the material. Third-party resources, questions, trademarks and linked material remain subject to their respective owners' rights.
7. External and affiliate links
External links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. Some blog links are affiliate links; UPSC Geeks may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no additional cost to you. External sites have their own terms, content and privacy practices.
8. Payments
The audited repository contains no active payment, subscription or checkout integration. If paid functionality is introduced, the price, billing terms and any refund terms will be shown before purchase. Future terms do not apply until such a feature actually exists.
9. Availability, changes and suspension
Features can change, be interrupted or be discontinued. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, legal requirements or material breaches of these Terms. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption but do not guarantee continuous availability.
10. Educational disclaimer
We aim to keep material useful and accurate, but errors and outdated information can occur. The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Use of UPSC Geeks does not guarantee marks, selection, rank or any examination outcome. See the full Disclaimer.
11. Reasonable limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, UPSC Geeks is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by reliance on educational or AI-generated material, third-party sites, service interruption or unauthorised use outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Ending use and deletion requests
You may stop using the service at any time. Signed-in users can submit a deletion request from Profile Settings. The current workflow is a manually reviewed request and is not immediate; the actual process and retention limitations are described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law. No specific city is stated because a verified operator address and jurisdiction have not been configured in the repository.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions can be sent through Contact or to contact@upscgeeks.in.
