Show correct answer & explanation
Correct answer: A. I only
Statement I is correct — Anadyr (Russia) and Nome (Alaska) lie on opposite sides of the International Date Line, so at breakfast time they are on different calendar days. Statement II is wrong — Anadyr is west of the Date Line (a day ahead), so when it is Tuesday in Anadyr it is Monday in Nome, not the reverse.
